Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Some advanced technical training in HVAC systems is preferred
- Minimum of two years relevant experience in maintenance / repair environment, and cGMP manufacturing environment experience is desirable.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
Skills, Specialized Knowledge and Abilities:
- Ability to read, comprehend and accurately follow company SOPs and guidelines and complete all paperwork as required.
- Must maintain accurate and precise records.
- Basic electrical, mechanical and automated controls troubleshooting skills is required.
- Must be able to work successfully in a team environment that requires flexibility.
- Must be able to communicate in a professional manner both orally and in writing and interact professionally with all levels in the organization.
- Must possess good organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to perform job requirements independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to meet strict deadlines.
- Able to perform under pressure and handle stressful situations along with readily adapting to changing job duties.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel).
- Able to maintain attendance and punctuality requirements.
Requirements (Physical, Mental, Environmental Demands):
- Physical demands may be high at times including working outdoors in extreme weather for extended periods.
- Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs throughout the work day in a multi-location facility.
- Must be capable of working at elevated heights.
- Ability to lift heavy loads up to 75 pounds on a daily basis.
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment as required to perform duties in the production areas (safety glasses, gloves, respirator).
- Ability to stand, stoop, reach, push and pull carts/equipment throughout the course of the work shift.
- Ability to concentrate, analyze and problem solve or troubleshoot equipment or facility issues.
- Must be capable of working extended shift on short notice and participate in on-call rotation for systems monitoring.
