Job Summary

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce (SFDC) Administrator with expertise in sales, product and ordering processes to join our team. The CRM and Business Systems Administrator will develop, build, engineer, and maintain key software elements to support the ongoing Meridian Bioscience project goals as part of the organization’s implementation and integration of business systems. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, creating and developing solutions at every level of the software by configuring out-of-the-box functionality, business logic, data management, reporting/analytics and integrations. The successful candidate will maximize Meridian Bioscience’s market share and sales opportunities by leveraging the complete utilization of CRM database, analytics, and support.

Key Duties

Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Salesforce data management, maintenance, system design, analytics, and customer information integrity.
  • Provision and manage user accounts and permissions.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a robust data hygiene process and program.
  • Configure, develop, and validate CRM solutions built based on the requirements and inputs collected by business analysts and project leaders.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to recommend solutions to improve the implementation and use of SFDC.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CPQ solutions within Salesforce to support pricing and quoting requirements.
  • Configure and customize CPQ components, such as pricing rules, product bundles, quote templates, and discount schedules.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and translate them into effective CPQ solutions.
  • Develop and deploy automation workflows to streamline the sales inquiry process.
  • Develop and support future integrations and App Exchange solutions.
  • Collaborate with commercial team to train, teach, and troubleshoot issues and processes to ensure the delivery and improvement of tools needed to be most effective.
  • Support Sales Team in conducting product promotions, including sample activities, review, and identify strategic direction, problem areas, and opportunities to promote sales growth. Support lead generation activities as set by the sales and marketing plans.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver up-to-date reporting and dashboards that include relevant metrics for proposals, contracts, conversion rates, and revenues. Provide additional metrics, as requested.
  • Collaborate and design process flows that meet our commercial initiatives and are scalable for future growth utilizing marketing automation solutions (Hubspot) and CRM (SFDC).
  • Coordinate with vendors and consultants when appropriate.

Qualifications

Minimum Education or Equivalent Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience - >/= 5 years of SFDC and Hubspot experience)
    • ≥7 years of SFDC experience preferred
    • >2 years’ experience utilizing HubSpot preferred.
  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
  • Salesforce Service Cloud Administrator
  • Experience in configuring and customizing Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, and process automation.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce/HubSpot integration for lead tracking, generation, and full pipeline management
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce CPQ functionality, including product configuration, pricing rules, quote management, and integration with other Salesforce modules
  • Experience designing and utilizing Service Cloud for automation of case flows and reporting dashboards in real time.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing Apex Classes, Triggers, Batch Apex, Test Classes, Visual force pages, Web Service etc, to achieve complex business functionalities.

Competencies preferred:

  • Expert-level SFDC knowledge and experience
  • Experience with integrations to off platform systems such as ERPs, databases & other applications.
  • Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist certification is strongly preferred.
  • Well-versed with CRM (SFDC) processes, including sales, marketing, customer service, customer support, and business processes.
  • Demonstrated experience building reports and dashboards, customizing them as per user requirements.
  • In-depth understanding and experience of the various software development methodologies.
  • Experience maintaining data integrity in the SDDC environment.
  • Hands-on experience configuring Salesforce (SFDC), including workflows, validation rules, and security controls.
  • Must have strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to grasp new concepts quickly.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Good analytical and quantitative skills, leveraged by strong computer skills - MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work with and influence people without formal authority and to work well with other departments within the organization.
  • Excellent problem-solving capability.
  • High-level collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Provide end-user training and support to ensure efficient utilization of CPQ features and functionality.
  • Process improvements driven; experienced and demonstrated proficiency in continuous improvement environments

Required Travel %:

  • 10% travel anticipated
