Job Summary

Responsible for Warehouse and Logistic operations with flexibility throughout all Operations

Key Duties

Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Agree Warehouse priorities with Warehouse & Logistic supervisor. Monitor and communicate progress against these
  • Assisting Logistic & Warehouse Supervisor with the preparation of documents for the warehouse (AWB, TSCA, ABD, USDA, packing lists, etc.)
  • Identify process improvements within the warehouse and work with the wider team to implement these as agreed with Senior Operations Manager
  • Co-ordinating receiving & inspection of goods/deliveries
  • Ensure correct items are picked, packed, processed in XA and are documented on the Customer Order paperwork
  • Ensure shipments are packed and labelled correctly for shipment
  • Filing documentation and updating spreadsheets as required
  • Maintain Warehouse areas in a manner consistent with ISO guidelines and with 5S programme
  • Packing aliquots/tubes into external packaging to create finished products.
  • Picking correct finished goods from various locations according to pick lists
  • Packing product appropriately and according to SOPs for dispatch globally
  • Downloading documents from Master Control
  • Completing documentation according to GDP
  • Work flexibly throughout all of Operations as required
  • Support cycle-counts and identify ways to improve stock accuracy
  • Monitoring of consumables for shipping and reporting requirements to purchasing

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years’ experience or equivalent within production and/or warehouse operationsCertification for shipping of dangerous goods according to ADAS and IATA
  • Experience or familiarity with ISO:9001 Quality System
  • Basic computing skills, including Word and Excel
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
