Job Summary

Position Summary

 

The responsibilities of this position include supporting all supply chain processes, from coordinating deliveries to managing shipping documentation. To be successful in this position, you should be well organized and understand the order fulfillment process.

Key Duties

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparation of shipping documents and export documents for international goods traffic (ABD, TSCA, USDA, pro forma invoice)

  • Preparation of freight documents using shipping tools (FedEx/DHL)

  • Ensuring correct packaging and labeling of shipments

  • Creating customs documents using the ATLAS IT system

  • Providing expert support in the import/export customs clearance process

  • Tracking shipments and preparing/providing the necessary documents to resolve customs delays

  • Providing customers with information about the status of their shipment

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum education or equivalent experience required/preferred
  • At least 3 years of proven experience in warehousing and logistics processes

  • Experience in preparing customs documents (Export/Import)

  • Ideally at least 2 years of experience in an ISO/FDA environment

  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Good English skills (verbal and written)

  • Excellent computer skills

  • Confident knowledge/use of logistics tools and customs software

  • previous experience in a cGMP environment and/or a life sciences company would be beneficial

  • certification for shipping dangerous goods in accordance with ADAS and IATA would be beneficial
