Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Service Desk Intern to join our Information Technology team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional IT support environment. The intern will assist in delivering technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the IT Service Desk operations.

Key Duties

  • Assist with hardware deployments, including setup, configuration, imaging, and distribution of company devices.
  • Support 5S Lean initiatives within IT, including:
    • Organizing and optimizing network accounts
    • Cleaning up and standardizing Office 365 (O365) items
    • Improving documentation and system organization
  • Provide Tier 1 IT Support (as capable), including:
    • Responding to basic help desk tickets
    • Troubleshooting Windows 11 issues
    • Assisting users with Office 365 applications
    • Supporting account access and basic device configuration
  • Assist with device and user management through Microsoft Intune.
  • Document processes and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support ongoing IT operational and continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and common desktop applications.
  • Previous IT support or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
