Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, ambitious, and results-driven commercial professional to lead growth within the Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna regions of the Italian IVD market. The candidate ideally needs to be based in Emilia Romagna.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales leader who thrives in competitive environments and has a proven ability to accelerate revenue growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, expanding market penetration, and strengthening customer relationships within the Italian diagnostics landscape. You will play a key role in shaping commercial strategy while ensuring disciplined execution and measurable business results.

This position requires a strong blend of scientific understanding, commercial acumen, and leadership capability.

Key Duties

  • Drive sustainable revenue growth within the Italian IVD market
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market share
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts
  • Utilize CRM tools (preferably SFDC) to manage pipeline, forecasting, and reporting
  • Deliver accurate and timely business performance reports
  • Proactively propose strategic initiatives to improve market penetration and operational efficiency
  • Inspire a small sales team to exceed performance expectations (where applicable)

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the Italian IVD market with a proven record of consistently growing revenue in challenging conditions
  • Diploma or Degree in Biomedical Science
  • Fluent English
  • Strong CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred) and solid business reporting & performance analysis capability
  • Strategic, growth‑oriented mindset with the ability to identify and execute commercial opportunities
  • Highly proactive, self‑driven and commercially sharp professional
  • Ideally some experience leading and developing a small team
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, combined with strong analytical and forecasting ability
  • Resilient, ambitious team player who drives performance through accountability and motivation
